2 weeks ago, I was telling mum I should go get a chickenpox jab.
1 week ago, I was having bodyaches thinking, will this flu come hit me already! and when I'm done with the flu I'mm go get my chickenpox jab~
Yesterday, it's too late...found my 1st bubble yesterday after I came home from the doctors.

Went to the doc feeling like crap, he said might be Hand, Foot, Mouth disease.
Came home took a shower, found a bubble. Went to the doc again!

I can't sleep at night coz long sleeves, long pants, wool socks, gloves and 2 blankets can't keep me warm.
I can't eat coz everything that goes down, comes back up to say "HI!" again.
As the minute pass, I find more and more bubbles.
Now my face is feeling really warm and...ARGH!!!

I'm adviced not to look into the mirror, but I can't help it. I'll probably stop walking to the mirror tomorrow if this continues~

So when they say that chickenpox hits you harder when you're older it's TOTALLY TRUE!!!

I'm miserable~

Rubbed shoulder's with the who's who's amongst the French people in Singapore...
French people are so straight faced~....very expressionless...

The movie was great!

I think this week is my best week of the year so far!!

Had 3 days off teaching which I thought would be a YAY!
But ended-up bring more busy than ever! Worked in the office till 8pm....insane~

We were asked to volunteer at the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicap.
In order to help us understand the visually handicap better we went for a blind exhibition "Dialog in the dark". I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THAT!!

We experienced being blind, walking in total darkness, crossing the
road, going to the market, a boat ride and even buying food and eating.
I love my sense of sight!
Best thing ever!!
Because of work I only usually work with the little ones, so when told that this group is mainly 40years and above...all of us didn't know what to expect.

Without expectations comes great rewards!! Those folks were great very spontaneous and they were so so so SO grateful.
Just last month we were sponsored to give a couple of lessons at a family service center which has kids who came from less fortunate families, I saw them 1 year ago and they still remembered my name!
How their faces beam with joy after our class makes it all worth it~
I swear I saw the same beam of joy from the older folks, that glow of appreciation to know that someone came to spend time with them makes my job....ahhh~...oh so wonderful!!

I made a new friend, Keith.
He's 56years old. His mother has passed and his brother's didn't want to care for him so sent him to a home.
I only told him my name once at the beginning of the session and at the end he called out for me.

He held my hand and said "Yi Xuan thank you so much for coming down. Thank you for the time and effort you girls put in for us."

I LOVE MY JOB!

And we've got 7 furry guest staying at our home for a while~

I went to Hong Kong! I went to Hong Kong! I ACTUALLY went to Hong Kong~ -.-'''
Only made the decision to head to HK like 1 week before actually flying off~
Being spontaneous like that is fun!

If not for Tofu Tay being there I doubt I would step foot into Hong Kong~
My 1st trip travelling alone...the experience was amazing!
You have to do everything yourself and can depend on no-one but yourself is pretty awesome..

I used to think my colleague was very brave to always travel alone, now I can understand why~
Coz you can do ANYTHING at ANYTIME you want!

The air in Hong Kong was terrible, if I stayed for a few more days I would need to carry a oxygen tank with me!

Was gonna meet my friend to head to Lan Kwai Fong..and she was gonna be 45mins late!
So I decided to walk around the streets myself when it's already 12am at night~
Got a few winks from the very perverted HK ah peks and also I got "shouted" at by stupid Guai Lo's!

Still ended up safe and sound, while all the men thought I was a call girl or something~ -.-'''

Went for Beers and overheard an extremly conversation between 2 guys.

Guy A : "Are you excited you're getting married next month?"
Guy B: "Yes~! But we've been staying together for so long so it feels more like just signing papers."
Guy A: "You said after you get married you wouldn't head out to "play" anymore"
Guy B:"I kinda gave up the thought of not "playing" too horny and love woman too much."

After hearing that I looked at the 2 guys~....So it was kinda obvious I could hear what they were saying....
Even though they tried to speak more softly...I COULD STILL HEAR THEM!!

Apparently guy B as much as he loves his wife to be....She isn't able to satisfy him sexually~
Hence he would head out to "play".
He was determined to stop when they got engaged but apparently sexual satisfaction is too important~

They both made my beer date more interesting as most of our time was spent listening to the amusing and dumb things they were saying~

OH! The boss and I were talking today about franchising out of Singapore.... and his only question to be was "would you want to travel out to give workshops?"

Suddenly this month it seems like everything is working out fine...
All sides of my life seems well~! Work is getting more tiring but more responsibilities means more *cha ching*! and more sense of satisfaction!

I'm OH SO TIRED!

I doubt my working life has ever made me this tired~
Usual teaching work, charity work, workshops, admin stuff, preperation for upcoming shows and interviewing new people!!!

All this stuff in the very fruitful April~
May 7th please come soon....at least the show would be over~

OH!! And now since I'm in charge of getting new people down for interviews and looking through many many resumes~ I now know why some people can send 10 resumes and only get 2 replies..
while some send 10resumes and get at least 8 replies~

It totally lies in how you sell yourself people~
I've been reading some ridiculous mails the past 2 weeks~ and of course some extremly scary photos!
Which is a good "perk-me-up" admist their boring and complicated mails~

I did it once...and I did it again~

What I thought was just a minor twist of my leg, resulted is major pain and I couldn't walk!!
It's amazing how things change in just a few hours~

Went to have Tau Huay with twangy,del and mitchy had a slip due to uneven road...
I could still walk into the shop, eat tau huay, walk to hail a cab, walk home and it didn't hurt bad..

Just a few hours later when I was sleeping it hurt like crazy!!
You know when you watch tv and there is this person who is in pain but couldn't express it~

That was how I felt, I was in major pain, I couldn't walk out of my room, I didn't want to shout real loud for help from my room that would scare too many people and might wake my neighbours~
I just laid in bed and cried and force myself to sleep~

When I figured it was about 7am and mum would be waking up...I hopped to her room and told her it hurts like crazy~ I couldn't even place my feet on the ground and apply tiny bit of pressure~

I've sprained,twisted,fractured and even tore a ligament!! But this is the first time it actually hurt so bad...and when I told the family it hurts, they all took me very seriously, coz I've never said it hurts....

Oh well...back from the hospital and I got a new best friend with me "Crutches" is his name.
He'll be staying by my side 24/7 till my feet doesn't hurt anymore~

Just 22years of my life and I bought my 2nd set of crutches!! Try beating that!!
And only a few months ago I threw away my old crutches and told mum :" Don't keep lar, so inauspicious. Won't need it in the future"

I know sometimes I've been bad to you. Torture you by standing for too long or kill you by wearing ridiculously uncomfortable shoes. I know I haven't been the best person to treat you well, but I do let you enjoy the fine life~ I bring you to people who knows how to treat you well, clean you up, massage you comfortably.

But why do you have to do this to me?? It's painful and embarrassing, I admit my mistake and will try my best to wear better shoes....but please stop doing this!
I need to stop falling down and scrapping my knee!!!!

Happy Birthday mummy~!!

It was hard getting around planning mummy's birthday as it was CNY day 1 and Valentines day!

Especially when we were planning to surprise her with a cake on her actual birthday.
Searching for a cake was hard as all cake shops are closed on CNY day 1.

Sometimes the things that happen

when I'm working makes me sad~

Today I handed a letter out to the kids as usual I would say : "remember to pass this piece of paper to your mummy or daddy"

Little boy looked up at me and said " I don't have a daddy only mummy, we've only just moved house"...followed by a smile on his face~

My heart sank....such a young boy yet so brave and well behaved knows very well what is going on in the family.
I told my other teacher (Suzana) what he said.....she confirms with me his parents are divorced.

The dad spoke to her last year when we had our open class to see if his son was ok in class, because they were going through a divorce.
Suz said he was a little off for a few weeks but they didn't know why....till the daddy told them.

And now my little student is so brave and able to accept the problem his parents have, I'm so proud of his little spirit!!

Sometimes we just have to accept things for what they are and move on in life~

WHAT KINDA PROPOSAL IS THAT!!!??

I haven't reached a point in my life where majority of my friends are getting married.
But I have reached a point in my life where I know quite a few people who are getting married.....hence when you ask, "Oh!!! Congrats!! How did he propose?"

The answer is usually a blank look or it would be, "we've gotten approval for our flat."
The classic was mitchy's friend who didn't see a need to propose to his girl as their flat is approved and ROM was just a step to get the flat.

HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW can you let yourself do this!!??

A proposal is VERY important!!
It's more important than that dream wedding!!
More important that the perfect dress, guest list, wedding dinner, wedding ceremony!

It's the start of everything~
For goodness sake!! The dude is asking your hand in marriage and HAS to ask!!!

If you think that "let's get a HDB" is a way of proposing, you need to realise that
Marraige is more than just getting a flat!!!

And if you girls think that "oh don't need to propose lah, together so long already. And we've registered for flat..."
You need to wake up and realise that,

How are you going to marry a person when he has never asked you to marry him!!???

GoodBye 2009!!

You've been a nice year...
I think I've accomplished quite alot this year~
Became more daring, more open and more of a professional at work.
This year at work I've planned shows, co-ordinated teacher training workshops, write lessons and of course earn more $$$$!!!!!

Not too bad for only being in this line for 2 years!
Till next year...we'll see how the career goes!!

Some might have it a little rough this year, some might have had a pretty interesting emotional roller-coaster ride...but we all learn something from everytime something happens!!
So leave it behind in 2009...don't bring it with you to 2010!!

It's about a girl who is deeply in love, but didn't realise her Boyfriend was drifting away...

After many calls she realised....He left her.......

A night at Taboo...where nothing is Taboo~

It was Handbag night at Taboo and the theme was Lady GaGa, hence Reilly, Suz and I were excited to go!!! Lady GaGa!

But sadly, except 2 Lady GaGa songs was played during the drag show....
we got cheated by the phrase "lady gaga all night long"...they cheated out feelings!!!!!

Oh gosh......my boss cheated my feelings~
Last week is suppose to be my last week at work but I still have work lined up back to back till Wednesday~!

He cheated my feelings~ And apparently I have to train some teachers at a Church Kindergarten our Ballet curriculum so they can carry it out on their own~

He said :"the principal said their teachers are really old and they got scared when she told them they are going to learn Ballet~"

SCARED!!!!! I bet they are thinking I'd teach them how to twirl in the air and jump to touch the ceiling~!
And erm...I'm imagining OLD like those with walkers kind~ *grinz*

My only motivation for these few days...

I was at Hard Rock Cafe the Saturday before last for lunch....
I was justl telling my dining partner how embarassing it is to have a birthday announcement so loudly and STAND on a chair while they sing you a birthday song~
I don't EVER want my friends to torture me like that~~

THAN...

Today, my very cool company, with very cool colleagues and cool bosses...
All went to have lunch at Hard Rock Cafe......

The boss happily told the waiter that it's Suzanna and My birthday.....
The waiter's came with 2 sundaes....
I started to mouth "oh no~ Oh no~ Oh no~" and Suz was laughing because I told her a week ago about Hard Rock birthdays~
told us to go on stage...
asked us to stand on a chair..
asked us to ask the FULL restaurant to sing us a birthday song....
He later pushed the cherries INTO the sundae and made us pick it out~
and I got WHIP CREAMED in the face!!!!

No-one who whip creams me gets away with it!! I took the cream off my face and rubbed in on his face too!! :D *take that!!*

Luckily Suz was in it with me..if not I'll bury my head under those carpets~

I used my hp to record this and somehow the sound and the image don't match, the sound is slower than the image...

We were waiting for this kid's Ah-Gong to pick him up after class,
Jay decided to play a "guess which hand the coin is" game.

I found it hilarious and recorded it!!!

1st time Jay hid the coin, he guessed it wrong.

2nd time Jay hid the coin, he guessed it right, So now it's his turn to hide the coin.

He hid the coin in his hand, and Jay choose the CORRECT hand, and the kid switched the coin to the other hand!!! Pretending that Jay choose the wrong hand.

Than he ran to a tiny hole in the ground placed the coin there and told us "it's gone"

AND he does the switching of hands and hiding of coins all in front of us!!
Maybe he thinks we're blind of his invincible and we can't see what he is doing!

I can't stop smiling everytime i see the video!! He's too cute!!
And he is the Grandson of a Company which you would definitely know!!! Precious grandson.

My boss and I talk about his "new friend", but there is another person "Jon" whom he has been "FRIENDS" with for the past 6 months. (i didn't even realise it has been 6 months!!)

Last night I had a dream...
I dreamt that I was pregnant...WAS..
because I gave birth, and it is a very cute baby boy!!

After Eugene's phone call at 10am and a few text messages I have recieved before 10am, the rest is unknown to me now.....

We had a talk and we realise that "me" time, as important as it is, it doesn't really happen.
Mobile phones are distracting, a convinient source but also a reason why "me" time doesn't happen. Hence we made that decision this morning.

Just that today is a special and rare day, I'm not working, B isn't working.
It is a trial day with no distractions from anything else.....

Well the thing is, woman are emotionally driven whereas men are not as emotional as us and are probably more cautious in taking their feelings to another level.
If you say it 1st, it might be pressure on him on how to answer you.

So even if you feel like you are about to blurt out "I love you", remember he might not reached that level yet.
Give him more time and let him say it first, he takes a longer time to feel that when he really means it.

I msged my dear friends late in the night saying "Let's go for Korean BBQ!!"
So 2 days later Korean BBQ buffet~~!!

According to bullock tay, chew min min looks very happy here..
and the previous pictures of her and me didn't look VERY happy...so we had to re-take a "very happy" shot~

It varied from Coffee club, Tcc, cedele.....then...Ben & Jerry's!!

So we hit the road to Dempsey Hill for B&J since miss chew hasn't been there before....

Our Merlionster...9 scoops of ice-cream which we expected to be in a BIGGER bowl~..
The brownie in the ice-cream is SOOO GOOOD!!!!

Ended the night WALKING down dark dark Dempsey hill and bitching why people wouldn't stop their car and offer us a ride!!!
Finally a nice uncle driving our favourite yellow car appeared and sent us all home! =P

I decided to negotiate with myself so I only got 2 colours.....I'm still thinking of the colour I didn't get......and I saw the shoes!!!

Shoes were gorgeous but too high....maybe not a good thing to buy them...
Decided to just pay for my dress and GET OUT OF THE PLACE!!
so I paid...and got out of the place!!!

After I went to meet debbie and have dinner couldn't take my mind off the shoes..
We decided to walk back to the shop and see the shoes...
and she said "Buy it."

I bought it~

Decided to buy the purple pair out of the 3 pairs~..
Bullock said she is bringing me back to the shop and get the other two pairs!!

she got her hard boil egg, removed the shell, placed it in a bowl and was ready to mash it....WITH A SPOON!!

Was in the car with donkey this morning and we were listening to the radio~
Dj said that this famous HongKong singer cum actress was dating this actor.
She dated him because he told her he was single and showered her with care and concern.
She believed him and scrapped off what paparazzi have been saying that he has a girlfriend.

Poor girl was wrong to believe him, media started labeling her as a mistress, slut..whatever~
She ended things with him but got blamed for many things~

The relaxation trip!!!

Before leaving Singapore land.....buy alcohol to prepare for GREAT NIGHTS IN FOREIGN LAND!!!

When we arrived.....HOT!! HOT!! HOT!!

Skipped Tanning on the day w arrived, hanged out in room till we take th shuttle out and have our massage!!! ^o^

Lovely well stocked fridge!! 90% filled with alcohol~

The bottle of Singapore Sling we bought.....
Nice bottle....nice packaging...pretty pink~

But wasn't our favourite on 1st taste!!
it was very cherry-ish!! Not a fan of cherries~

Went to the shop in our hotel to get mixers~
Because we decided not to be smart and continue drinking it neat!

After pretty pink drink in our room....
It's time for heniken by the pool~~

Next morning~...Bum around day!!
The nice man who is topless helped us shift the deck chairs to the beach~

Not caring about the time...only when to wake up for breakfast was the only time she took note of time~

LONDON (AFP) - - A British man fed up with his wife's complaints advertised her for sale -- and got a number of offers.

"Nagging Wife. No Tax, No MOT. Very high maintenance -- some rust," wrote Gary Bates, 38, in a small ad in Trade-It, more usually used to buy and sell cars or household goods.

Bates, a self-employed builder from Gloucestershire, southwest England, snapped after his wife Donna on got on his nerves while she was watching television and decided to place the ad as a joke.

"She was nagging me for doing something small, while she was watching some rubbish on TV. So I just thought I'd put an ad in to get rid of her.

"I didn't think anyone would ring up but I've had at least nine or 10 people calling about her. It's gone mad. There was no one I knew -- just people asking, 'Is she still available?'"

The couple only married last year, and Bates said his 40-year-old wife -- whom he advertised in the magazine's Free to Collect section, along with some of his fishing tackle -- initially gave him "a bit of an ear-bashing."

Went to watch the ballet by Singapore Dance Theatre today~
Watched Cinderella....not too bad~
Some parts where not necessary..some parts were boring..
But overall was ok...kinda enjoyed it~ ^o^

It was really long though..from 8pm till 1030pm~

As we were taking out seat the ursher thought we are from a dance school because there was quite a few of us~..
My colleague got very happy..."we look like dancers!!!"
hahaha..he's crazy!!

After which went for drinks and some food~
Nice soothing night out~

Thanks to the boss for getting us tickets and SDT for upgrading our tickets~

Yesterday had vocal lesson.....FANTASTIC!!!
Learnt about our voice...it's purpose how it works...
How to use it properly~

Do you know that we are not "made" to talk, we taught our body to do something which we were not "made" naturally to do~!

Learn to project my voice properly, put it into different "modes"
Looking forwad to vocal lesson's now~

Now this is one of the reason why I LOVE MY JOB!

My Mrs Cow's day!!

February 14th...mummy's birthday!!
Had dinner at Tofu Tay's place... 2a.m dessert bar

I think mummy was very happy that day..
We 3 had the Valentines Day set dinner...Plus a bottle of Zagara!!
Officially my favourite!! White sparking dessert wine!!

Bought one bottle to bring to bull's place for the girls that night and they liked it too!!

Chew came and we already finished the bottle of white....so daddy Tay suggested champagne with strawberries!!
So we finished a bottle of champagne too!!
WHOOOPIEEE!!

Zagara...White sparking wine..BEST!!!

He just keeps pouring and pouring and that keeps mummy and I happy!!

1st... Turkey with erm...something and something~~

2nd....forgot what jelly thingy, asparagus foam and egg yolk droplets on egg white crepe

3rd...Almond milk soup with balsamic jelly droplets and almond nuts

Main course: Daddy and I had Pork belly with apple mash...I liked the savoury and sweet combination~

Mummy had Tuna something something~~

I was telling daddy and mummy that chewy complained couples were all carrying flowers and dad was like "I'll go buy her flowers!"
And he left.....

Chewy came!!
Daddy came back just before she arrived.....
So he got her a flower and 2 navel oranges~!!
Daddy said real flowers die not meaningful so the fake one...
Navel oranges represent kids!!

Champagne and strawberries!!

Dessert...blueberry parfiat...

It's the last day of Chinese New Year today~!!!

I read someone's blog saying~~
自己年紀不小了，也開始不好意思拿紅包。呵呵。這幾年都已經習慣把整疊紅包原封不動地收在抽屜裡。在這兒呼籲一下：即將派紅包給我的長輩（和同輩），壓歲錢多寡是其次，祝福最重要。

Yeah and I agree with what he says...Money inside the ang bao isn't important, the wishes are more important~

Even though I am not REALLY that old...but I just realised this year I have done what he does too~....
My Ang Baos are staring at me on my table...Probably screaming "Open me!!" "Open Me!!"....

I went to the National Skin Centre...
I saw a handsome doctor....
The doctor is my cousin's friend, he was very nice....

I went to the pharmacy....
I paid money *heartache*....

I now have steroids and medication to eat...
I have 3 different cream's to apply and a bottle of spray medication....

GOSH!!! I can't believe I have to take steroids.... the oral medication is sucha hassel~
Apparently I can only take it on a FULL stomach and down a FULL glass of water after the pill ^^

I can't take alot of other pills together with those subscribed too~ ^^''

Love Ellen!! She is just SOO funny! LOVELY!!!

Came across this episode where Ellen FORGOT Portia's birthday!!
Portia was in Australia and they are one day ahead as compared to America...
Ellen forgot!! She only remembered when she was talking to Portia on the phone and she said :"You forgot didn't you...it's my birthday today~"

Ellen felt so guilty!!!

She sent Portia flowers every 3 hours~~

One day my friend and I are going to set up a club~
A club for crazy people who talk about crazy things...
We are going to be in the guiness book of records for the most number of stalkers because our fans just LOVE our craziness SO much!!

On the other hand...we also plan to stalk each other...I stalk her she stalk me..and we can go in a circle....
Or the other way is also...I walk behind her for 10mins and she walk behind me for 10 mins, take turns....

We set into a laughing fit when we talked about boobies...and laughed like nutcase in front of a webcam!! all I can say is SIAO!!!

O Level results released today!!!!

The time when I went to collect my results was DONKEY years ago....
Still remember how nervous I was....and a sigh of relieve when results were collected...
All that studying and hardwork for 5years was over just like that...
Sad also because there is no more comfort of just following a system and being a good student..
no more worry free lifestyle and FRIENDS!!
Friends whom eat, gossip and clean table together in the canteen~ ganging up together to our teachers!!
Changing together in the class room....
AHHH...MEMORIES!!
I Love all of you deep deep!! I miss secondary school~~~ My very dark tanned t-shirt and P.E shorts line days~~

My two baby boy couzzies are recieving their results today!!
Baby boys are all grown up!!!!

Probably the worst year I had...
Worst not in a bad way but through those worst times I learnt many things about myself.

I'm back~
Still sleepy....and eh..I have not unpacked..
But I have done the most important thing which is to hide all the shoes which I bought!!
Why hide?? If you ask that you probably don't have alot of shoes and shoe storage problem..
and also a mum who kinda notice your shoes!!

Mummy obviously know I bought shoes coz when I came home she was like...
Bought new bag huh~...What about shoes??
She know I bought them..but now how many pairs...so SHHHHH!!!
coz it's 7 pairs in 2 days~ or more like erm...4 pairs in 3hrs and 3 pairs in 15mins~

I shall be more elaborate about the trip soonies...like next year!
