while waiting for fishy to do her hair...chew chew and i walked arnd and i found a interesting drink!!..美肌-ing~!!its a drink which is suppose to "beautify ur skin"..haha...bt it was a tad too sweet~

our 1st "real" meal in tw...hu xu zhang~...

fishy mixing her 卤肉饭...chew chew and i din tell her wat it was bt juz told her to eat it and its nice!!...coz i won't even eat it if i knew what it was too!!..haha
its actually the fats of pork made into a yummy gravy~~...sound fattening i know..bt its really good!!..and no-one ask u to eat it everyday ma~~....

we like our food!!!

after crazy shopping which they both did!...time for beancurd!
it doesn't taste as nice as the one i had in shi lin last yr..bt still its ok~~
how one can not have 珍珠豆花when i am in the land of 珍珠's!!

fishy doesn't like pearl's so she had peanut~

but as i was eating she was EYEING on my pearls!!!

so there is a little part of her which want my pearls~..

we watch tw shows and they like to eat da chang bao xiao chang 大肠包小肠..
chew chew and i thought it wld be literally a big sausage wrapping a small sausage...bt it was juz glutinious rice wrapping a sausage~~...

one of the taiwanese fav's! 卤味..wanted to try but i don't eat 99% of the stuff..its all the heart,kidneys..wat ever u find it inside a bird!
I only had tofu and a duck wing~...

i was chewing my duck wing back in the hotel and chew chew HAD to take a picture she said i looked funny~....

Jiu Fen 九分
花枝丸(sotong ball) & 香肠

oh! this potato swirl thingy which we only saw in jiu fen!..its a new food the taiwanese created recently~~

2 yummy food!!sotong ball was really nice...very chewy!

and this potato thingy is really nice...someone bring it to singapore!!...

Mala steamboat dinner

chew chew says"it's good to eat with people who love prawns coz they will be willing to peel for u."

the daring chew tried 猪血糕(pig's blood)..she said its not nice...

she tried 鸭血(duck blood) too...bt she said its nice!...chewy~

i didn't eat this when i was there the last time..
this time i made sure i ate it!!
its the tall tall ice-cream~!

chew chew and i has green tea & strawberry...the fishy has choc...

refreshing! not creamy or sweet....perfect for the terribly humid weather..and its only 50 cents!!!

the cakes from a cafe near our hotel tempted us since day 1!!..
so we know we had to eat it!

after much walking we had starbucks 星巴克~
and it was the ONE AND ONLY time we had to speak english to order our stuff in tw...it was super funny~~and starbucks is cheap there~

fishy and chew chew drank each other's drink wrongly..and they din realise till i told them!...2 of them lost their taste bud's i think~~
Shi da ye shi

we saw this stall selling 小G块...thought it was interesting and ordered 1 to try..

we waited REALLY long......every1 got their order's while we waited~~

and this is it.....its juz chicken nuggets!!..at least now we know what 小G块is..

nuggets cannot satisfy us so we had chicken cutlet again~
