While reading yesterday's newpaper....
Finally someone spoke up on unfair treatment of students in schools....
Schools advised students to leave the school and join ITE when they can qualify for the 'O' levels.
"The Straits Times reported on Saturday that an all-girls' mission school had advised some of its pupils to join the Institute of Technical Education even though they had qualified to study for the GCE O levels in Secondary 5.
As parents fumed over that advice, and the manner in which it was done, the school defended its stance.
It seems the principal had gone into a supposedly 'weak' class and displayed the results of the girls on a transparent slide.
Her point was that she was trying to give the girls a wake-up call and she argued that it was a fact that a student who just scraped through the N levels was not likely to do well in the O levels.
The students' emotions were quite clear.
One of them was quoted as saying: 'It is very sad when your principal doesn't have faith in you and will not give you a chance.' "

Even though they didn't name the school...the above senario sounds and feels WAY to familiar.... I bet u girls might feel that it seems very familiar coz the exact same thing was done to us too!
Well according to the newpaper...MOE can't do anything abt it coz its the principal which has the power~~

6 years ago the story started...
It is a unique story with wonderful content..
Something we would had never expected....
Something many ppl will never get to experience....
But 6 years later this story might come to an end...

Lesson starts TODAY!!!
Was on the phone till late last night and totally forgot I had lessons early this morning!
Luckily my colleague reminded me~...if not i wldn't even go~
Classes not officially starting yet coz some schools are not open yet so dumb me thought that break wld be till 25th jan!!
Bt too bad today i start some classes...
Kinda dreaded and feel that break shld be longer....
Well to look on the bright side I LOVE MY JOB!!!! Back to laughing and going gooo goo gah gah over adorable darlings!! and hugging and kissing them! Wat's not to LOVE!!
Gt a girl in my class today and her name is yixuan...
I felt like i was talking to myself!!hahaha~

Past few weeks has been pretty exciting....alot of late nights..
Only the beginning of 2008 and i feel like I have already known myself a little more..
For the 5 of us i must say we had a start of 2008..a way we didn't expect..but i'm sure the whole year will go smoothly..
No-one deserves to be told and controlled....
No-one owes anyone a living and u live for yourself...
