AwwwwWWWwwwWWwWwwww~!~!~!~!

I recieved my first teacher's day present today!!!

Woopie!!! It's so heart warming!! MY FIRST!!!
The kid just shove it in my hands and ran away~...aww~

Today a little boy Justin was touching my fingers~~...oh oh! kids like shiny stuff coz my nails are shiny this week~
after he touched my hand he said "I Love You"...awww~~~

sometimes u juz don't know how to react so u juz smile! ^-^

chew chew says that I got kids gao bai-ing to me~~...
well...they do love me! and kids don't lie~~hahahaha

Happy Birthday Biscuit!!

Pardon me being a day late with the post....tay xuan xuan is busy preparing for performances for the kids.

It's the month of August and so many people have grown old~!..my turn is coming soon!!*gasp*

A year older...time to be wiser and stronger than before!!..

Last time during St John's, I used to stand in front of many juniors to teach them stuff, inform them about things or scold them and I am never nervous and my brain doesn't go blank or am I lost of what to say~~

and that can be about even 40+ ppl listening to u~~

Now, my mind can go blank or I can panick and have to seriously think of what to say when I am talking to maximum 22 children~!

it's the way they look at u that makes u worry u wld say the wrong things...

their eyes...they look at u like u have so so SO much things to tell or teach them~..and they learn what ever you say in an instant! so if you wonder why some kids are so ill mannered...parents are really to be blamed coz they didn't teach~~

Children are so innocent!

And becoz I teach not only at 1 school but at 5....and at each school I have 2 classes i am SO terrible at remembering their names~...I can call a kid by the wrong name when juz 5 secs ago i juz talked to him!!!

Jacob: Teacher!!Teacher!! *stand right under my nose*

xUan: Yes Jacob.

Jacob: Yesterday I saw you walking!!

xUan: Oh....then why didn't you come up and say hello?

Jacob: I was in the school bus. You don't believe u ask Jer Kai. *runs while screaming for Jer Kai*....

Jer Kai: *looks at me with wide eyes* Yes! Yes! yesterday when in the school bus we saw you walking.

xUan: *thinking* eh.....ok..eh...then....can't think of what to say...so...

xUan: *looks at Jer Kai* That's nice to know. Ok go back to your mat.

xUan: *shouts* OK everyone! Sit on your mats and we shall start our class!!

Now I know my every move is being watched by those kids! so gotto be extra careful when i am out now...no more monkey business!!!

Elyse: Teacher...Do you stay with teacher Andrew?

xUan: No I don't stay with teacher Andrew, we live in seperate houses.

Elyse: Then why you two always come together?

xUan: *thinks hard* Because we are here to teach you.

Elyse: Then why you don't stay together?

xUan: *looks at Andrew who was laughing his head off*

xUan: Erm...Teacher Andrew lives with another friend...ok let's read about the little prince ok!

Kids really know how to ask you questions which you don't know how to answer!!!!

Happy Birthday Woman!!!

お誕生日おめでとう

Happy happy happy HAPPY birthday Bullock Tay!!!!

Not only we have the same surname we are alike in many ways~and it is untill this year that we really think we might be related somehow~....

maybe our great grand-daddy's are brothers!!!

Like u said the other day we have been friends since we were 12!!!and of course many more years to come~~

We two are a one-of-a-kind pair to keep together~

we get stares whenever we are on the train...
we complain that it has been a long time since we quarreled!!(who does that)
somehow when we are together we speak a language only we both understand even though its still english
we often suffer the same fate even though in different countries...falling down on the same day...breaking our nails~..haha
we somehow have the same taste in things but bring it out differently..
we hit the desserts 1st when we eat~
we brag that we are the best sisters our sibling could ever have!!!
and the most scary thing was we gave each other the EXACT same present one christmas when we bought it in different counties!!!!! (unforgetable memory~~)

even thought u have been in aust we have not drifted apart in anyway and can still hold long long conversations....I didn't notice till that day u said there was 1 yr we only met up once~!...

I suppose when we do things like that it is when you know you got a true friend.....友達常に!!!!

I LOVE YOU!!

It's friday!!!! End of a working week, it's been a tired but FUN week!! Woo Hoo~!!!

Everyday I see different kids and at every school the kids are different....

but everything is still all in the name of FUN STUDYING!!

Highlight of the week....

As Andrew and I were doing some songs.....Andrew turned his head and saw a kid in a puddle~~

he pee-ed on the floor~~....

and no i didn't have to clean it up..luckily one of his teacher was there so she cleaned it! WOOHOO!haha

I told my 1st story on wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Furgus Scary Night"!!!..the kids really liked it!!

And I feel so proud today!! There is this kid Jessica, saw her 2 weeks ago and she cried b4 lesson and didn't want to join in with class she juz sat down...

Today she cried b4 lesson again!! and again didn't want to join in.....but during crafts I asked her to draw the brick house(we r doing 3 little pigs)....and she willingly walked to me to draw!!! YEAH!!....then after crafts we sang some songs and she joined in!!!..WOO HOO~!! with actions and all....and when we were done she said bye bye to me~~...awwwww~~~

and some kids are juz so sweet!!!..

after lesson's they would hug us and say bye bye!! They wld juz hug your legs like a koala! haha

And u feel SUPER happy when someone hugs your legs...look up to you and say "I Love You!"

AWWW~~~ my heart melted~~

Today after I finished classes, Tracy dropped me off somewhere in little india and I was to walk to the mrt station through those alleys...
I've been walking there since monday and nothing happened~..

TODAY!!such a unlucky timing to walk there~~
1st was sms-ing chew chew...then wasn't looking at the pavement..missed a step and I fell!..was carrying my heavy bag and another bag of props for lessons...

and i fell in front and i really mean IN FRONT of 2 bangladeshi~!!..and they not only didn't bother to help me up or pick up my things...they juz stood in front of me and stare!!!!!!!!grrrrrr~

2nd!! after i picked myself and continued walking..heard a voice~ "excuse me, may i know what time is it?"
told him the time.....then he said "u r very pretty...shall we have coffee??"
I was thinking "WHAT!!!!crazy person!!oh shoot!! i'm in some quiet alley!!

the guy juz started following me~..and kept asking things like where I stay, if i cld give him my no. and go have dinner or coffee with him~!....
at first I juz smiled and said :"no. No. NO~."
he wldn't budge!!when he asked for my no. again i wanted to say i don't have a hp bt shoot~ I was sms-ing at that time~...

where was the crowd when I needed it!!??"

I was so scared!! strange man following me asking personal questions in a quiet alley in little india!!!...my eyes were peeled open to look out for people!! finally saw a spa place and I figured if he still follows I wld walk into the shop!...

finally I said to him :" Leave me alone!" ...finally he went off!!! not forgetting to say a very disgusting bye bye to me!.. SUPER GROSS!!!

oh and why i said this pickup line is used by all ages is coz the other day..maybe a few weeks ago..a LITTLE boy asked me that same qn too! I think i only told twangz abt this~

was walking hm frm work then this boy asked the time told him and i went to the coffee shop to buy food...
continued walkin and the same boy asked the time again!!..then he asked which blk i live in~...he asked if i was married or have a bf!!! he is a little boy!

i asked him hw old is he...he is 15!
i said :" little boy, go home. I am old enough to be your sister go home ok.."
little boy said :" Why cannot, age isn't a matter what."
and he continued following me to find out where i live.
If u live arnd my area or been here u shld knw hw quiet this place is...
i wld be stupid to literally walk hm so i asked him which blk he lives at. he said"309"
SHOOT!! same blk !! -_-'''

luckily the new mama shop nearby was undergoing some painting..so hanged arnd and i pretended to dig for keys to make it look like i live in tat blk till little boy was out of sight...i ran hm! in case he was hiding behind some pillar!!

*Nxt time some dude ask me the time I wld juz say i don't know I am not a clock!!*

Happy 20th Birthday Chew Chew!!!!

Happy birthday to my friend for 8 years!!!!....The many stupid things we do together.....mocking & teasing each other....taking funny pictures....taking ugly pictures.....always trying to blackmail each other with the ugly pics we have of each other!!

All those funny, stupid, crazy, sad, tired, excited and dumb moments are greatly appreciated by me!!!...We might have had our disagreements when we were younger and maybe diss each other at that time, but now we even went abroad together!!!

Time past, we are growing and u are someone I would keep so don't u think u can escape from my life!!!!

No matter what it is, be happy always!!Love you loads!!!!

Today was my last day at work...and what my boss said really made my day!!!..it shows that he is happy with my work~~~ WOO HOO~!~!~!

felt a little sad, even though I was only with this company for 3 months~~..

ppl there are nice and the bosses are really FAB~...u don't feel like u have to keep a distance from them~~good bosses and colleagues is the most important factor is office life~

well...I'm going to embark on a new journey, good bosses, colleagues and satisfied students are going to be the important factors now!!....

watched 不能說的秘密(Secret) with chew chew today~~....

I don't like synopsis!!!!!...booked tix online and I read the synopsis~..

it pratically said what the secret was!!!..so it spoiled the movie for me coz I kinda knew wat was to happen~~...synopsis are suppose to make u more interested......bt this funny person who did it juz told u what the movie was abt~!

oh well....I give the show 3.5 stars out of 5~....ppl kept laughing and I didn't know what they were laughing abt~~..bt in the end I think coz they are not used to seeing Jay being like the character and used to the cool cool Jay..

so whenever he does any little action they wld laugh~... (^-^)

bt the show was good as it's his 1st~..it is kinda like drama material..

bt I wld watch it again~!!

HAPPY 42nd BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!!

it's our birthday!!!...as much as we have many many things to complain about this little island of ours....actually isn't that bad when u compare to other countries...it's actually great~!

i'm thankful for being able to have durians all year round~!

and i think we are the only country which can sucessfully pull off the stint of making people pay to eat breakfast with an animal~...New Zealand boast to have more sheeps then humans and yet i don't see them having a "lets's Lunch with sheep sheep~"....so cheers to "Breakfast with ah meng!" brilliant people we have here~~!!!!

but one thing I seriously think we should bring back is still the courtesy campaign~

we are a country which can sucessfully ban chewing gum and allow smoking only in certain areas, but we can't get people to keep to the left on the escalator~
UNIQUE AREN'T WE~!!
of course we are unique.....we are afterall named after something which is half lion and half fish~~

I think someone up there loves me!!!!

I think I am a nice person!
Tofu said he feel like eating doughnuts and I have no idea what happened to me I said I would go and buy~!!! O-O
ok...part of the reason might be...this is my last week at suntec and its a monday so places in suntec are always empty on a monday~

Went down to donut factory.....I was like WOW!!! no q!!!..WOOPIE!!!!
walked a few more steps....*thinks to herself*
"stupid person stand so far frm the lady make me happy and think there is no q for nothing."

The q was quite long....it was further then where chew chew stood the last time...and that time she took 30 mins to q and 30 mins for doughnuts to cook~..total 1 hr!...and since this time it is further~i was like (^-^''')!!!

bt to my surprise I took only 15mins!!!!!!.....fastest among all the ppl I knew who q-ed before!!....this lady in front of me started talking to me abt the doughnuts and how her son loves it~and she gave me her name card~...I can make friends while q-ing for doughnuts too!!!
gave her my no. too....this is networking ppl!!haha

tofu insisted on having 2 dozen doughnuts I said 1 dozen but he insisted...
coz I won't want to eat and he said "I'll finish it all, I'm not working tml so i'll eat it"..he is a PIG i tell u~~P.I.G!

wanted to cab home coz bus is usually quite full and with doughnuts and a big bag squeezing in a bus is the last thing I want....walked to cab stand...bus juz arrived and empty!..so I boarded the bus, bus was so empty I think the driver was desperate for passengers~!...he drove past every bus stop slowly~...
I think I had a lucky night!..WOO HOO~

Bullock did this brain test thingy she said it is pretty true....
fishy found it pretty true~~..
and when I tested I felt pretty dumb~..
why?...Why? u ask...coz my brain only thinks of one thing!!!

ok~~bt come to think of it..it is pretty true~~...coz especially after reading Mitch Albom's books I do think that everything we do is because of love...it is because we feel loved that's why we are happy and it is because someone loves us so we live~~
unsatisfied I tested without my surname~~....
now I feel like a mysterious person~~

this brain is similar to bullocks brain huh~~...
except I have one more element~~

WHY DIDN'T I HAVE SPEECH & DRAMA CLASSES WHEN I WAS YOUNG!!!????

Speech & drama classes are fun!..for a kid i mean....

As a teacher...woo boy~~tiring~~

Had my 1st lesson today!!!!...WHOOO PIEEEEEE!!!!

was actually really scared and nervous yesterday, but its not so bad after all...

Met suzana in the morning to go to JC's place(he is the boss)....

Suz guided me through the materials and props....talked abt Jay the teacher who am suppose to follow....

she said he is fun....bt he is also blur~

he really is abit blur!!!...coz I called him yesterday and told him I am suppose to follor him for lesson's and where does he want me to meet him~...

xUan: "So where do you want to meet me tomorrow?"

Jay : " I'm not sure, where is the class?"

xUan: "Cherie Hearts. At Tanjong Katong."

Jay : "Oh. so I would meet you at Jc's then, coz Rashmi told me I have to meet a girl there."

xUan: "ok!. I would be at Jc's early anyway because suz wld be teaching me the materials, and I think the girl you are suppose to meet is me~."

Jay : " Hahahaha, oh yes! now why didn't I think of that!"

Waited at JC's for the teacher to pick me up~

then off I was to have my 1st lesson with Jay and Ros...

Had 2 classes today.....

Baby class(50mins) and K1 & 2 class(1hr)....

I AM PROMOTED!!!!!!!! call me Teacher yixuan or Aunty yixuan^-^'''~

haha...I have to get used to this aunty yixuan thingy~~...

well...Jay did introduce me as Jie Jie bt I guess...being at least 10 yrs older then them.....it is reasonable to them to call me aunty too~~..hahaha

baby class was fun!!...but had 1 kid who was pretty unwilling to join us with the fun but she was still good...

straight after baby class we had the older kids...and 1/2hr through with that class...I was already tired!!!...

and the kids are so interesting....pop a question and they want to share all their stories to you...

and as we were building crafts today...

a little boy tapped my shoulder...he tapped a few times i think...coz i thought i felt something tap me but i thought i didn't feel it too....

his name tag came off and he was sad~!!..haha

rubbing his eyes and with a sad sad face he said: "Teacher~"

and gave me his tag and when I put it on for him again...he was smiling again!!!

And coz this is my 1st 1st 1ST time doing this I was obviously more quiet in the 3...

and another little boy came to me and said : " Don't be scared."

hahahaha...oh my!!!...even Jay was laughing when he heard that...

That's not bad for a 1st day, better then I expected....

Jay and Ros were really nice to guide me too~

So now my mission is to learn the songs, talk ALOT louder coz my voice has to overcome the kids~....

Maybe I should eat a chocolate or sweet b4 lessons so I get my sugar high~~

*I think I made the right choice after all*

fishy flew back 2 weeks ago...bullock flew back this morning...
when I recieved her sms this morning I felt down~~
coz the nxt time we wld meet is dec~!~!~!
chew chew will be flying in a months time~~~

Even though Gucci has sales more often then we meet up...
and each time we meet up there isn't a minute of silence...literally no silence~
we could always tell each other everything..
no such thing as drifting apart and topics would be different...
3 of us ganging up against fishy....

I LOVE U GUYS!!!!!!

and erm....notice we are always having buffet!!...
we should have more normal portions the next time yar~
