4 funny things that happened today...

1st..one of my kid's brother who is 10 months old...started to play with me..he is so cute!!played with him and he can make funny faces!!
all was well untill he landed his mouth on my boob!!..he was hungry and mummy had stopped breastfeeding him since he was 7 months old..
bt according to mummy who was sitting behind me and witnessed the whole thing was laughing her head off!!...said she is having a hard time getting him to stop the breastfeeding part...

2nd..while walking out of the club after class i slipped and fell!...and we were juz next to the pool..i was say...2inches away frm landing into the pool!!!

3rd..tripped over my own feet an the steps and nearly fell!!.. luckily Jay pulled me back...

4th..I walked into a van!!! YES I walked into it~...

Jay was with me when all these happened and all he does....is laugh!!!

Bt i do admit it is abit stupid...
I feel like a blonde today!!

Stuck to reading news about the 5 dragon boat rowers...

Even though I do not know them somehow I can feel their lost...
A tragic accident and an expensive lesson learnt by the organizing committee..

All 5 athletes are such talented young lads with a bright future ahead but this terrible accident took them away...
Condolence to their family and friends...

I don't cry reading newspapers but this incident is too sad~

That evening, when the team cleared the bus of their belongings, Mr Tan said he saw a shoebag lying in a corner by a seat.
It belonged to Mr Chee Wei Cheng, 20, a close friend who drowned.
Mr Tan hugged Mr Chee's shoebag to sleep that night.
But waking up in tears later, he said: 'I dreamt of Wei Cheng, he came to me and told me not to wait anymore.
'He said goodbye.'

I can not imagine his pain~...

The team captain Yeo Chin Hwei such a brave man...
Thank you for putting aside your personal trauma and bravely face the media, parents and being the voice of your team-mates.

I really got a REALLY big family~
I applaud the grand-daddy!!

Cousin's wedding on friday night, despite complaining of hunger on my way there i still managed to put on a smile and greet everyone and figuring out who they are in my head!!!

When my 2nd aunt told me that a cousin is getting married...

2nd Aunt: your cousin is getting married~
xUan: Who? which cousin?
2nd Aunt: Wee Sing..
xUan: who is that?
2nd Aunt: ai yah...just one of your cousins lar~..
she didn't even bother to explain~~
When I finally figured out which aunt that cousin belongs too...I was very convinced that i attended both her kids wedding...and i didn't know till NOW that she has 3 children not 2!!!

I like family wedding dinner coz this is the only time besides a funeral where u can see the whole Tay family...all the brothers and sisters look so alike! cousins from the diff grandma's aren't very close though...
so i told tofu: "see any ex-girlfriends!!??..this is the time to make sure if they are family"

Haha...3/4 of the hall is filled with family i can barely see their friends among all the relatives~..
OH! did i not mention that i just realized that i do not know any names of the cousins frm 2nd grandma side...so yeah~ i didn't know my cousin's name till his wedding!!

All i said was.."be cute!!"

Parcel came for me on Thursday...birthday over and Christmas not here yet..I didn't see why I should get a parcel~..
When I opened the 1st thing I said:" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
2nd thing that I said:" this is crazy~!"

this is what arrived in the mail~

Dan sent them over~....for my birthday he sent me boxes of pocky and kitkat too..and 1 month later he sent more "supplies"!
u see there is only one box of kitkat coz he said he left out that flavour~
its chestnut flavour...haven't tried it yet..sounds a lil weird though~...

He said he saw them in a shop so bought all the stick biscuits he saw!! haha..so sweet~!~!~!...
According to him, he remembered that i LOVE pocky~...i do like pocky but didn't know i LOVE them that much till when some1 saw pocky i wld be reminded of~...
I still rem in sec sch I wld have a box of strawberry pocky almost everyday..especially if we have extra classes~.....

he says there are more flavours he wld send more over~..hahaha
I feel like a pocky tester!

Friday, Saturday and Sunday...3 consecutive days of seeing fishes~

Sunday was to watch this play written, directed and produced by Jay~
Helped him abit with the play and I made the programme booklet! so proud of myself!!! and to see my name in the acknowledgements for the 1st time I'm HAPPY!!!!
The Tales of Three Marias......GOOD PLAY!
It's about 3 domestic helpers in Singapore...their plights, their troubles and their sacrifices~
Opened my eyes to see what they really feel and what they go through..something we don't know~....

Went to have my check-up the other day..thought that wld be my last time into the doc's office and i could finally be discharged!!!!

But to my dismay i still goto go back again....Doc said "we'll see in a few months~"

aRgh! to think i was so happy when i went to the hospital awaiting the good news..

oh well...doctor know's best~!

Went to prego aft my doc appt coz tofu said he wanted to eat GOOD pasta~Prego is officially my family's favourite restaurant!!

Dad was the 1st to order and while I was still deciding he juz went ahead to order my tiramisu when i didn't even say anything!...

he knows it is my MUST HAVE when i'm there~
Best tiramisu we have here!!!

had creme brulee too...its was yummy!! sorbet served with it was yummylicious too!!

Yesterday had "bonding" time with daddy...

went to CHIJMES to eat....we decided to try Carnivore

it was quite good..i like their starters and salad bar~...
since its name is Carnivore main courses were all meat~
the chefs wld walk to ur table and cut the meat directly to ur plate~..

so they had this coaster looking thingy which u wld turn when u want meat and when u don't want any....quite a stressful meal though...

daddy was like :"they are coming they are coming!"

This week was halloween party week so at every school we gave letters to parents to dress their kids up for halloween...the responce was way better then i had expected....
I seriously did squeal when i saw some of them in their costumes!!!
