Ashamed ashamed ASHAMED!!

Feel total shame by the attitude of our locals!
I know not everyone is like that but at least there are more than enough people like that!!!

Why can't people just look at others who are mentally ill normally??
Why can't people lend a helping hand to the physically disabled!?
Why can't people give those who are autistic a chance??

At one of the preschools which I go to there is a child who is autistic...he used to just sit down and stare at us and we have to guide him to stand up or follow us in what we do...
Now he juz automatically follows us...we no longer have to tell him to stand or sit, now he even smiles and waves at us....
it just shows that autism juz slows them down but they are in fact clear of what things are~
he is one of those students which really make u feel a good sense of accomplishment!!

And the other kids at the school really take good care of him, they would hold his hand share their toys with him too~...
no-one boycotts him!! So proud of those kids~
Some people i know are actually scared of going close to people who are autistic!..they say they look scary and they are crazy!!
they are not crazy mind you!! its called AUTISM!!!
and BOO to you coz you find human scary! u r a even bigger monster!!and you are worse than a 3-6 year old who can even lend a helping hand!!

Yesterday, at AMK interchange while waiting for the bus.
1 guy came and talk to me....it was quite obvious that he is a little mentally unsound~
And people were staring at him
He shouted "HEY!!Hello..." *when i don't know him*
I just smiled....and he asked me if i went to the NTUC coz i was holding the plastic bag...
Seeing that i was q-ing for bus 135
he asked "you taking 135 ah?? u sure??u sure u taking 135?where you going?"
I said "Yes, i sure i'm taking 135.I'm going home~"
He said " you going home ah!..Bye bye! you take care hoh.."

SEE! he is harmless he just wants someone to talk to him~...
and the aftermath of talking to him everyone around started staring at me!! like i am some kinda freak!! especially this lady who was q-ingin front of me and is obviously educated and works in probably a reputable company coz of the way she dressed...took a few steps forward and stood away from me after that guy came and talk to me!!!!
SUCHA FREAK!!!!!!!!
totally pissed off by the attitude of those people and ashamed to even be associated with them coz we all have the same nationality!!!

There is totally nothing wrong with showing a little kindness or care for someone~
