Friday movie date was my 1st R21 movie.....
Was actually not worried at all on whether I could enter to watch...
1st time at The Picturehouse!...nice, small theatre....

It is a good movie and I did like the movie! but it is gruesome....Finn used the word disturbing but I still insist on gruesome!!!

Synopsis

Three stories. Three ages. Three men. Grandfather, father, son. One is an orderly, one is a leading sportsman, and one is a master taxidermist. One desires love, the other success, and the third immortality. Like the novels from Gabriel Garcia Marquez, surrealism and historical facts are mixed to create a kind of 'fairy realism'. As the 20th century draws to a close, we witness history as seen through the eyes of three generations of a Hungarian family...

3 parts to the story,

1st was a man who desires love because he is like a "slave" and desires a woman's touch....hence he longed to make love and when he did and it was found out his "owner" and shot him in the head! The lady was pregnant and the baby was born...


2nd man....The baby was born and brought up to be a Food eating champion...He was always greedy for success....He stole his friends bride who is also a food eating champion at the wedding but they got married and he always longed to be 1st in food competitions....



3rd man....His son....a taxidermist~ took care of his dad as his mum has left them due to the dad being unrealistic on things and aggressiveness in the longing to win all the time~ they reared competition eating cats as his dad could not compete anymore as he is too big to even move out of his seat....Dad was angry that the son did not inherit what he and his wife did~ and decided to be a taxidermist... They had a disagreement and the son forgot to lock the cage which hold the cats and stormed out of the house....end result...the cats made a huge hole in the man's stomach and ate his intestines...stomach...
The son than preserved his dad....
And he also preserved himself....



That was how the story was...ok preserve is not the word but i can't think of any other word...

As you can see the picture, he built that machine and he opened himself up and took out all his internal organs himself.....in the ending the machine cut off his head and one arm...

GRUESOME RIGHT!!! My other friend was shocked when I told her watched this movie since I'm known to squeal even by seeing people having a tattoo..!
Well~ Finn choose the movie...But it still is a good movie!!!!!!

In case you don't know what a taxidermist is:
the art of preparing and preserving the skins of animals and of stuffing and mounting them in lifelike form.

End of movie report!!!!!

Just before we went into the theater papasan called and asked Finn to go to zouk...
So that was where we went after our movie...

Was introduced to another papasan, Ivan....he is soo funny!!!
And he made me harass another girl, Xavier...
He just took my hand and kept making me touch her!!!!! and Xavier and I just stood there staring at each other!!! hahahaha~

Saturday night was spent at Finn's place.....I really like Finn's place!!! It's in those old heritage house really nice!!! Had loads of fun there!!!!

Sunday had to work!!!! Due to full week of shows next week...but had dinner with Cheryl and her car kakis!!
